Sejong also added, “Because of this lawsuit, institutions such as the Fair Trade Commission, the Commission on Human Rights and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have improved legal regulations to protect trainees and rookies. Above all, by raising awareness within the industry itself, the trio have set up a sturdy foundation for rookies to pursue activities freely in a safe environment, where they are protected by the law within entertainment agencies.”

They continued to state, “Also, thanks to the cooperation of both forward-looking parties, we hope for more progress for JYJ through this agreement, which is equivalent to an outright victory.”

[NEWS] JYJ reaches agreement with SM, finally freed from restriction

perselisihan kontrak SM Entertainment dan grup JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) telah selesai setelah 3 tahun 4 bulan dari pertempuran hukum yang panjang.

Menurut beberapa kalangan hukum pada 28 November, SM Entertainment dan JYJ telah menyetujui untuk mengakhiri semua kontrak antara kedua belah pihak sejak tanggal perintah pada tanggal 31 July, 2009.
Kedua belah pihak telah menandatangani perjanjian untuk melepaskan semua tuntutan hukum dan menghentikan semua campur tangan pada aktiftas di masa mendatang mulai saat ini.

Mengenai pernyataan tersebut perwakilan JYJ menyatakan, "Kami belum menyutujui itu untuk kalian."

[NEWS] 120913 JYJ vs. SM Entertainment verdict postponed again

Menurut Pengadilan Pusat Distrik Seoul, keputusan sidang untuk kasus JYJ vs SM Entertainment yang sedang berjalan terkait kontrak eksklusif, kembali ditunda.

Kedua belah pihak tidak bisa mencapai kesepakatan di sesi sebelumnya pada bulan Agustus dan tanggal baru yang dijadwalkan pada bulan September ini. Tetapi, meskipun keputusan seharusnya dikeluarkan pada pukul 10 pagi ini, pengadilan merekomendasikan kedua belah pihak untuk bermediasi dan menunda keputusan sekali lagi.

Perwakilan hukum JYJ mengatakan, “Pengadilan sekali lagi merekomendasikan kami untuk bermediasi. Meskipun ada perbedaan pendapat, pengadilan percaya bahwa sebuah kesepakatan akan diraih dan sangat berharap isu ini dapat selesai dengan kesepakatan bersama.”

“Kami akan menyesuaikan jadwal agar perwakilan hukum dari kedua belah pihak dapat bertemu kembali secepatnya dan sekali lagi mencoba mencari kesepakatan,” kata mereka.

According to the the Seoul Central District Court, the verdict for the ongoing case between JYJ and SM Entertainment over issues related to past contracts has been postponed.

The two parties were unable to reach a mutual agreement back in their latest court session in August, and thus a new date was set for September. However, although the verdict was to be issued by 10 AM today (13th), the court recommended that the two parties mediate and postponed the verdict once again.

JYJ’s legal representatives commented, “The court has once again recommended that we try to mediate… Although there are differences of opinions, the court believes that an agreement can be reached and strongly wishes for the issue be mutually settled.”

“We will be adjusting our schedules so that legal representatives of both sides can meet again soon and try once again to come to an agreement,” they said.

Nama-nama besar di dunia Hallyu sedang bersiap untuk membuat comeback masing-masing sebelum tahun ini berakhir.

Lineup dari SM Entertaiment termasuk TVXQ, yang sedang bersiap untuk comeback mereka pada akhir bulan ini, diikuti dengan Girls’ Generation yang mungkin akan merilis sesuatu pada bulan Oktober ini di Korea. Setelah itu, EXO akan merilis full-length album mereka yang pertama, namun untuk sekarang tidak ada rencana dari SM untuk mendebutkan artis atau idol grup baru.

Di sisi lain, harapan yang tinggi datang untuk YG Entertaiment. Telah diumumkan bahwa SM Entertainment akan merilis kompilasi dari lagu hits terdahulu mereka untuk ‘SM BEST ALBUM 3‘ mereka yang akan datang pada 10 agustus.

It has been announced that SM Entertainment will be releasing a compilation of their past hit songs for their upcoming ‘SM BEST ALBUM 3‘ on August 10th.

This is the agency’s third best-of album, and is the first one in almost 12 years following the previous two compilation albums, ‘SM BEST ALBUM 1′ in 1994 and ‘SM BEST ALBUM 2‘ in 2001. This latest album will include 89 hit songs on six CDs, encompassing the past 12 years of history of SM Entertainment.

‘SM Best Album 3′ will also feature hit OST songs from its artists including Taeyeon‘s “Can You Hear Me“, Tiffany‘s “By Myself“, Yesung‘s “It Has to be You“, and much more.
